Who we are

Best Destination Elopements is the elopement photography and planning service of Rachel Sue Photography. This policy explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and how it is used. You can reach us at rachelsuephotography@gmail.com.

Information you give us through the inquiry form

When you submit the inquiry form on this site, we collect what you type into it:

• Your names
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Desired destination and desired date
• Estimated guest count
• Estimated investment / budget range
• How you heard about us
• Anything you write in the "vision for the experience" message

How that information is used and where it goes

We use your inquiry details only to respond to you, plan a consultation, and discuss your elopement. When you submit the form, your details are:

• Stored in this website's own secure database (hosted infrastructure);
• Copied into a private Google Sheet used as Rachel's inquiry list (Google LLC);
• Emailed to Rachel through the email delivery service Resend so she sees new inquiries right away.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed above.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-PR9GWLHS) to load measurement tags. Google Tag Manager itself is a tag loader; the tags it delivers may include Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement or remarketing tags.

We group cookies into three categories:

• Necessary — needed for the site to function: page navigation, submitting the inquiry form, and basic security. These are always active and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics — helps us understand which pages and destinations visitors engage with so we can improve the site. Off until you allow it.
• Advertising / Marketing — used to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site. Off until you allow it.

Until you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied using Google Consent Mode, so Google's tags do not write analytics or advertising cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key bde_consent_v1.

You can change your choice at any time — either with the button below or the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party services actually used on this site

• Google Sheets (Google LLC) — stores inquiry submissions in a private spreadsheet.
• Resend — delivers inquiry notification emails.
• Site hosting and database — stores the site and inquiry records.

Our social media links (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest) simply open those sites in a new tab; they do not embed tracking into this website.

How long we keep information

Inquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our booking records. You may ask us to delete your inquiry information at any time by emailing us.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or ask a question about this policy, by emailing rachelsuephotography@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning a wedding or elopement and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the services it uses change. The revision year at the top will reflect the most recent update.
